If there's one thing I've learned from my ten years of playing the drums, it's that tuning drums is hard. Let's face it, tuning any instrument is hard, but tuning a drum presents an additional challenge: you need to tune each of the lugs in incremental amounts, following complex patterns around the drum to avoid overtightening between two lugs and warping the drum head. Only once this is done three or four times to reach the desire pitch range can the actual tuning begin. This whole process might take anywhere from 10-20 minutes. Multiply that by the number of drums on your kit (anywhere from 2-30+ if you're Neil Peart) and you have a tuned drum kit!
Design a tool that can be used to tune all of the lugs on a drum head at the same time to reduce the time (and headache) it takes to tune a drum.
